ABOUT ME

I'm a bit of an odd duck: an engineer who writes novels, a writer who starts high tech companies. After some time growing up in Ohio, I smuggled a pet turtle past the agricultural inspection station on the California border and spent more time growing up in the Los Angeles area. I went to school at UCLA, where I studied electronics and Milton, then did post-graduate work at MIT, where I worked on semiconductor device physics and edited a literary journal. That was a long time ago.

Now I run a small company and design scientific instruments, teach physics and write video scripts. I live in the Boston area with my wife and two young daughters. So far I'm still juggling all these balls and working hard to keep them aloft.

BLEEDING IN BABYLON is my first novel.
